Everything a door project needs, from one team
You describe the site. We design, quote, install and support the system, and you keep one point of contact from the first call to the handover.
Which doors, which credentials, which readers can stay. The design is written down before anything is quoted.
Verkada door controllers connect to your existing doors. Verkada states you can continue using existing readers and keycards or upgrade on your schedule.
Cabling, controllers, readers and Command configured by our own team, with local compliance handled where it applies.
24/7 Verkada technical support, automatic software updates and hardware warranty up to 10 years by model, with Rotem as your commercial contact afterwards.
English or French, one console across provinces
Projects run in the language your team works in, and every site sits in the same console whichever province — or side of the border — it is on.
Your point of contact, the project documents and the administrator training can be in English or in French.
Sarah Teman leads sales for the Americas and Serge Teman leads technical delivery from our Montreal office.
Offices, warehouses and branches across provinces and in the US sit in one Verkada console, with one user directory and one set of schedules.
Watch how a door's events are read in Verkada Command
A Verkada walkthrough of the door page: live video next to every badge, unlock and held-open event, and the filters that find one event among thousands.

Why a Verkada door is not just a door
With a conventional installation, the access-control server and the camera recorder are two systems that somebody reconciles by hand after every incident. With Verkada they are one console. This is what that changes on a normal day.

Card, phone or PIN. The controller decides at the door — it keeps deciding if the internet drops.

Every badge, unlock and door-held-open event carries the video of the nearest camera. Nobody looks it up.

Filter doors and cameras together, find the person or the plate, export the timeline. One login, every site.
What Verkada's own customers report
Rotem Solutions is an authorized reseller, so the platform in your quote is the one these organisations already run. The figures below are Verkada's published customer results, not Rotem Solutions projects.
“One simple, easy-to-use application made all the difference.”
Michael Sherwood, Chief Innovation Officer, City of Las Vegas — in Verkada's published customer story

Four steps, one accountable team
Tell us about your doors
Four fields on the form. A specialist calls within one business day.
Design and written quote
Doors, credentials, controllers and licences, with the installation stated door by door.
Installation
Our team installs and configures the system; in the UAE under the SIRA licence and approvals the work requires.
Training and handover
Your administrators learn Command, users are provisioned, and Rotem stays your point of contact.
Our own engineers in Montreal, backed by Verkada
The people who assess your site, design the system and configure Command are Rotem Solutions' own VCE-certified engineers. Sarah Teman leads sales for the Americas and Serge Teman leads technical delivery, from our Montreal office, so a project is never handed to an unknown subcontractor after the sale.
The leadership team has delivered security projects across North America, Europe and the Middle East. The quote you receive is written by the same team that installs and supports the system afterwards, and it states exactly who carries out each part of the work.
Verkada supplies the technology, the 24/7 platform support and the hardware warranty; Rotem Solutions designs, quotes, installs, configures and remains your point of contact.

Before you ask for the quote
How long does an access-control project take?
A single site with a handful of doors is typically designed, quoted and installed within a few weeks of the assessment; multi-site projects are phased. Your quote states the schedule.
Do we have to replace our existing readers and cards?
Not necessarily. Verkada states you can continue using existing readers and keycards, or upgrade to Verkada's on your schedule. What can stay depends on your installation and is stated in the quote.
What happens if the internet goes down?
Doors keep working. The controller holds the credentials and the rules locally and syncs back when the connection returns — a Verkada design feature, not a workaround.
Who carries out the installation?
Your project is designed and managed end to end by our own engineering team under Serge Teman, Head of Technical Department for the Americas. The quote names the scope, the schedule and who performs each part of the work, including any locally licensed trades a jurisdiction requires — no unknown subcontractor turns up after the sale.
Can the project run in French?
Yes. Your point of contact, the project documents and the administrator training can be in English or in French.
What does it cost?
Access control is quoted per door after the assessment: controllers, readers, licences and installation in one written quote. The assessment and the quote are free and carry no obligation.
